Our extended family (six adults, two children) stayed at this house in December 2025. This was our second stay in this house and it was wonderful. Large rooms, conventient to stores and restaurants, and clean as a whistle. HVAC, wi-fi and appliances all work very well. Richard is easy to deal with. We recommend this with out hesitation.

We stayed at Gold Sky Cottage. The house was perfect for six adults and a dog. We used the extra room on the first floor with the pull-down bed and attached bathroom as the fourth bedroom for the entire week. And still there was plenty of room in the main living area and kitchen to all hang out. Richard even indicated that he is planning on expanding the kitchen area. Very neat and clean. Well-stocked with games and kitchen items. Large TV in every room. Excellent location with easy ten minute walks to the beach and town areas. Host Richard was very friendly and responsive. Would not hesitate to stay at any of Richard’s other rentals in Cape May or Florida.

The house is absolutely beautiful, centrally located to plenty of restaurants and stylishly decorated. The backyard is beautiful. You really don’t even need to leave the house because everything you need is there! Highly highly recommend and hope to be back.

This house is perfect for families! From the larger, more noticeable things (pool, fenced-in yard, game room on the first floor) to the small, but so important things, (tub near the kids’ room, plenty of chip clips, and coffee filters). This house is well-designed & comfortable. Enjoy a wine spritzer on the deck or a dip in the pool and really feel like you’re on vacation! Richard is quick to respond and help in any way he can. I recommend a stay here. Enjoy!

Loved this West Cape May location – a few blocks walk from beach and one of the few homes that has a pool! Highly recommend this host and home for a relaxing beach vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Richard’s house and would love to return (in fact we really didn’t want to leave). The house is beautiful; it is very well cared-for and thoughtfully decorated. It has all the amenities one might need and more to make the stay enjoyable (including an entire drawer full of spices, many extra kitchen appliances, varied board games, books etc). The location is perfect, set in a peaceful neighborhood but still very close to the beach and shops. And our dogs loved playing in the grassy fully fenced-in yard. Lastly, Richard was very responsive and helpful in ensuring we had a great stay.

We really enjoyed staying at Richard’s home. We were 5 adults, one toddler and a dog and we were very comfortable. The house has a very nice lay out. The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortably large, the kitchen appliances are modern, the beds comfortable, a TV in every room. The pool is a plus which we used often. The grounds are well maintained, the neighborhood quiet and the neighbors friendly. We would definitely rent this home again.

My family and I had a wonderful, relaxing, fun stay at Richard’s! The rooms were spacious and clean with large TV’s. The bathrooms were large and spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed and we made multiple family meals, with plenty of space at the large dining room table for us all to eat together. The backyard was perfect for reading and lying in the sun, letting the dogs run around, and swimming in the (heated!!) salt water pool. And the front porch was a favorite spot to relax in the shade, chat, and read. The house itself is so close to everything… we walked to shops, the beach, restaurants, and the Cape May State Park.

Richard is a wonderful host!! He responded to our messages almost right away! He made sure we knew where everything was, and had everything we’d need to be comfortable.

We felt so relaxed after our week stay, and would 100% recommend. We’ll be back!! Thank you, Richard!

Beautiful spacious home close to beach. Well stocked kitchen . Great for a large family !

Our stay was fantastic. We had our adult children and their significant others, my parents and 2 Boston terriers. The neighborhood is quaint and a very short walk to the beach. I really enjoyed the outdoor spaces. The pool area is always shady and sunny, so you have your choice for most of the day. The landscaping outside provided shade and made it very pleasant to sit out in the afternoon. The kitchen is well stocked and loved all the spices! Real knives! To cook with! And every kitchen tool you could want, including a crock pot. The fridge is BIG, which was helpful with 8 guests. Beds are comfy and TV’s are new and large. Lots of seating in the den. Richard, our host, was extremely responsive and helpful. I prefer to rent from individual owners vs. management companies, although both are fine. I find when you’re dealing with an owner, it’s a better experience, and it was a great experience in this case. Thank you, Richard, for a great stay at your lovely home!
